We have a vision that childcare can be more accessible and more affordable, and that the community can have a role in supporting the delivery of that childcare.
Our project - kindly funded by One Manchester recruits and trains parents and other community members to join a team of helpers who support the delivery of childcare sessions that enable busy families to access work or education/ training.

Supporting Volunteers
There is volunteer learning portfolio which supports the volunteer in a practical way and is an excellent tool for them to use going forward into a job role as it shows developments, training and next steps.
The volunteers take part in planning meetings before they take part in a childcare session and this gives them knowledge on providing age appropriate activities and learning opportunities for children.
