Our trustee board meets every 2 months to help to shape and monitor how the charity is meeting the expectations of the community, our funders and regulators. Trustees are appointed from the local community, or because they have a particular skills that they can bring to the management of the charity.

We are delighted that we will be welcoming our first Trainee Trustee onto the board of Manchester Settlement. Najib Abdullahi began working with us as a young person in our Supported Housing Service (for young people who are unaccompanied asylum seekers). Najib has been meeting with members of our leadership team working through his induction programme, ready for his first meeting later this month.
