Open Door is a FREE befriending line is a simple service aimed to help combat loneliness by putting people in contact with a telephone friend for regular weekly 30-minute telephone calls fo six weeks. Our friendly volunteers are recruited and trained to become a light touch point of contact in a lonely week.

Our service is more needed than ever, we have people on our waiting list that would really benefit from a weekly telephone call. If you are interested in being trained to join our team of chatty volunteers, please get in touch as soon as you can.
